|SF Underground Market
The SF Underground Market is heading back to SomArts this month for an all ages show of wood-fired pizza, African curry, burrito sized tamales, and so much more.
Just like last time, the will be split into two shifts. The first (11am-4pm) will be focused on "take-homeables" - jams, produce, soaps, desserts etc, although hot food will also be available. If you want to avoid the crowds, this is a good time to go.
The whole day will be mixed, with some jams at night and some BBQ during the day, but will mainly hew to the above.
Fishing 101 with Kirk - 7pm
Sugar free living with Romona Beville - 2pm
We've got some really great stuff lined up for this market. As always, there'll be tons of amazing new and returning vendors, such as:
Panguita -- Andre Joffroy -- beer battered fish tacos & beef tostadas
Josey Baker -- Fresh home baked sourdough bread
Barbara Nealon - Beef & guinness Irish stew & soda bread
Telegraph Hill Coffee Roasters - Locally roasted coffee
Daniel Barbosa - Picanha- Spicy brazilian BBQ
PizzaHacker -- Melt-in-your mouth pizza made in a mobile wood-fire oven
JazzyB's Recipez -- Pork belly mac & cheese

In order to enter the market, we're going to ask everyone to sign up for a free membership to the SF Underground Market. Don't worry, it's just a formality. If you've signed up in the past, no need to re-apply.
About the market:
To sell at a farmers market, you need to produce your wares in a commercial kitchen. This is an impossible expense for many of us, so The Underground Market is about helping to get some exposure for all of our fellow producers who for whatever reason aren't able to get into a legit market.
These are veterans, people who've been making their products for years, but only able to share them with friends. We thought we'd give them a venue to share with the whole SF food community. A market, and a live show, all rolled into one.
Think a farmers market, but with music and drinks.
Come Early, Stay Late!
A call to foragers and owners:
Foragers: We're looking for foragers to join forageSF. To help us collect for our dinners as well as the wild food CSF when it gets back up and running. If you're interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Space: forageSF is looking for a home. We're sick of working out of cafes, so we're looking for an office. If you (or someone you know), has an underused space in SF they are interested in donating, bartering, or renting at a reasonable price, please let us know at email@example.com
