National President's Welcome
Dear JCI Australia members, friends, family and partners,
I want to welcome you all to a new year and hope 2019 has got off to a flying start. I am pleased to bring you the first update from JCI Australia for 2019, as well as my first address as National President.
The Make It Happen Weekend dates and location have been set. This year we will assemble in Wollongong on the 23rd and 24th February for a weekend focused on ACTION! This weekend will align with the National Annual General Meeting, more details to be released soon.
Other important dates to mark in your calendars include: JCI Australia National Convention (23-24th November in Melbourne), Asia-Pacific Area Conference (17-20th June in Jeju, Korea), JCI World Congress (4-8 November in Tallinn, Estonia), and Let’s Do It! World Cleanup Day (21 September) – I hope to see you at one or more of these!
As a leader, the best thing that I could hope for is a team that inspires me and one that I can learn from. I am honoured to introduce the 2019 Leadership Team, and I can genuinely say they inspire me, and everyday work with them gives me the opportunity to learn. Please welcome:
