Ocean Bones - "Runaways"
For those following the NT music scene you might recognise these guys. Ocean Bones is one half of now dissolved punk group Skarlett. The Weaver brothers are back with what many are calling the hottest new band in the NT. A mix of rock, punk, groove and electronic. We've had a sneak peak at the upcoming EP and it's eclectic, fun and catchy. This is the first single 'Runaways'.

Running Water - "Ngurra"
'Ngurra' is the first single from the long-awaited debut album from bush reggae favourites Running Water. The band are from Kintore, 530km west of Alice Springs, and that isolation has bred a truly contemporary and energetic sound. Running Water's self-titled album was the first release under CAAMA Music's grass-roots record label for community bands 'Therrka'.

Clever Monkey - "Snake"
A finalist in last year's NT Song of the Year Awards, Darwin band Clever Monkey are a hard hitting mix of cynicism, frustration, lyrical wit and musicianship. Their debut EP features a jaw smashing blend of heavy/hard rock, metal and prog. Their track 'Snake' gives a fair insight into the bands dissatisfaction and willingness to say something about it... loudly!

Lincoln MacKinnon & the Wrecking Train -
"Murder in the Marketplace"
Tennant Creek band Lincoln MacKinnon & the Wrecking Train don't know how to stop! The three-piece just launched the debut album Little by Little a Little Later - which is drenched in addictive, dirty blues rock - and now they're working on number 2! This track 'Murder in the Market Place' has just been added to rotation on Double J and has us excited for the next album.
