FRESH MiNT #1 - A Minty Fresh Christmas Gift
MusicNT is very excited to bring you the first ever FRESH MiNT featuring five very different, but very fresh tracks from the Territory. FRESH MiNT is a refreshing, monthly dose of new Territory music direct to your email. This edition is like an early Christmas present or that first minty candy cane from the tree (yum so fresh!). Lincoln MacKinnon & The Wrecking Train - "Hold Me Dear"
Growling vocals, unruly swagger and infectious desert-inspired country rock storm out of Tennant Creek with Lincoln MacKinnon and the Wrecking Train. The first single from the band's debut album Little By Little Later (to be released late January) is "Hold Me Dear" - a rollicking, menacing track that'll make you want to see these guys live!

Rambutan Jam Band - "East Point"
Youthful psychedelic reggae rock, influenced by the likes of Sticky Fingers, is what you can expect from Rambutan Jam Band's new EP East Point. Fresh from a bunch of gigs along the east coast the boys are planning a Sydney to Brisbane tour in early 2015. Escape the rat race and embrace the Darwin tropics by listening to "East Point".

Tjintu Desert Band - "Kapi"
2014 has been a huge year for Central Australia's Tjintu Desert Band. The CAAMA Music desert reggae group released their album Tjamuku Ngurra, performed at the National Indigenous Music Awards and showcased at the Australasian World Music Expo. They released this version of "Kapi" especially for the AWME performance.

Roymackonkey - "Great Divide"
Legends of the Darwin rock scene, Roymackonkey are on a national tour promoting their single "Great Divide". The track, off their album Abandonment Issues, won the 2013 Australian Songwriters Association Award. If you're in Victoria you can catch them at Musicman Megastore (Dec 3) and Mr Boogie Man Bar (Dec 5).

Anna Hebblewhite - "Moment in Time"
Alice Springs Pop/Folk songstress Anna Hebblewhite gives us "Moment in Time" from her debut album Growing Daisies (released on November 29). Originally from Tasmania, Anna now resides in the Red Centre. Taking influence from Eva Cassidy and Regina Spektor, Anna’s pop driven piano and acoustic ballads are rich with catchy melodies and lyrical quirk.
