I am honored and excited to have been chosen to be the new Library Director in Antigo. My deepest joy comes from building community and helping people make connections to each other and the resources they need. I hope you will stop by to stay hello. Please let us know how our library may serve you, your family and our entire community.

The library is celebrating the 70th birthday of Charlotte's Web with a variety of activities for all ages. We have weekly trivia through the end of October. Enter with the correct answer each week to be in the drawing for a Charlotte's Web Framed Print and Charlotte's Web reading pillow. Children and families can pick up our activity bags for fun and learning as well. On October 14 and 15 we will celebrate the actual birthday of the beloved book (October 15) with cupcakes, cookies and other treats available at the library all day. This is a great time to re-read this beloved classic and share it with a child you love.

Standard Poodle Jack and his human partner Dodi Sailer have started visiting the library so that children and youth can get some practice reading out loud in a safe non-threatening environment. Our most recent visit was October 3 with three readers each spending 20-minutes with Jack and Dodi. To sign-up call the library.  To learn more about Tail-Waggin' Tutors visit this link:
