PPF seeks an individual with excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills, good judgment, high integrity, enthusiasm, and, above all, diplomacy and a sense of humor.  Key responsibilities for this role involve coordinating and providing administrative support to advance and help shape PPF’s grant programs and awards, Friends and Allies Summits, and special projects and community events.  This is a new position. Programs Coordinator will work collaboratively with PPF’s Executive Director and Deputy Director to most effectively shape the duties, and with community members to develop PPF’s programs and events. This position requires someone who likes to be a hands-on contributor to a team that is working to thoughtfully engage Portland’s wide-ranging Park’s constituents. Those include: PPF board members, volunteers, City of Portland staff, donors, vendors and members of Portland’s many communities invested in the success of individual parks, natural areas, and public spaces, or the parks system as a whole.
