Meetinghouse Church Members & Friends,
As we approach the doorstep of Christmas Eve, we'd like to take a moment to wish a Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Throughout Advent, we have celebrated Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy. Even as we give thanks for those things in our lives, we recognize the places where those things may have been absent, too.
Indeed, as Christians, we do not only celebrate Jesus' Resurrection and triumph over the death-dealing powers of our world.
Today and throughout the Christmas season, we also celebrate the Incarnation — that God cares deeply enough about Creation to fully enter it as a human being.
So today, we recognize God's presence in the whole range of our experiences — in the songs we sing and the ones still caught inside us, in joy for what is and grief for what is lost, in the sacred and in what appears to be ordinary.
Today, after all, we celebrate that God is with all of us — with every person, and with everything that each person holds.
So, friends, we hope this Christmas finds you wondering and seeking out Jesus, who is Immanuel, God-with-us. And as you begin your Christmas festivities this year, we'd love to extend an invitation for you to join us at one of our three Christmas Eve services at 3:00pm, 8:00pm, or 10:00pm. (Find more information on them below.)
They each have their own unique expression but share the same Story, and we hope they're as meaningful for you as it was for us to put together.
Seeking Jesus and our neighbor's good with you,
(From Left to Right in the picture)

Georgie the puppet receives a mysterious letter in the mail, inviting him to Jesus' birthday party. After getting sent back in time, like B.C. back in time, Georgie realizes he didn't bring a gift to give!
On his way to the party, Georgie encounters some familiar characters from the Christmas story who help him realize that maybe the perfect present isn't something you can buy.
