Thanks so much to everybody who participated in our Quarterly Town Hall Meeting on November 20th. For those who weren't able to attend, see below for summary bullet points and informational slides from the meeting:
- To be more effective, we must be more clear and explicit in asking people to contribute financially to Meetinghouse Church.
- There was an open question regarding cultivating new givers, paired with a surprise at how low the most common annual gift is.
- There's a desire to connect our financial asks to a broader vision for our work in the world.
- We had a collective discovery around how quickly Foundation funds will become drained at our current rate and a collective desire to standardize how we utilize Foundation funds while pursuing long-term sustainability.
Stay tuned at the beginning of 2023 for an opportunity to respond practically to some of these insights!

From the Generosity Ministry Action Team:
GMAT (Generosity Ministry Action Team) is sharing the Bible foundation for giving. God created everything – Genesis 1:26-30. He is the owner of everything. That generosity inspires us as stewards, to manage what he has blessed us with. Stewarding God’s gifts isn’t a campaign - it’s a recurring "heart response" of overflowing gratitude for all God has given us - Jesus, eternal life, everything we are and do and possess. We pray for the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to stir every member of our church to see and feel a personal experience of abundance. This teaching and life application is for All of Us. We have a great opportunity and need for sharing to be done now. Every year, every month, every week, every day in gratefulness from All of Us.
Generosity Profile
We are so thankful for the tireless service of Shawn Radke as our front door greeter! Last Sunday he greeted outside well beyond the beginning of the service so that everyone who couldn't find a parking space felt welcome. You are the best, Shawn!
Generous Ministry
Paul Bertelson's ministry of YouthWorks for more than 25 years has impacted so many people. Over 600,000 youth have been on mission trips since YouthWorks started, and the outreach to teens, communities, and leaders is immeasurable. We are thankful to be near this amazing Christ-centered ministry.
