May? Really? Wow, 2011 is whizzing by. Each month seems to be busier than the last, and with all the great holidays like Cinqo de Mayo, Mother's Day, and Victoria Day long weekend, I'm sure May will be no different. And of course, who could forget Star Wars Day?
If anyone celebrated, we'd LOVE to see some pictures.
New and improved booking system is live!
In case you missed the announcement on our site, we've got a new online system for booking our boardroom. We were using Divvy, which unfortuntely shut down at the end of last month, so our irreplaceable co-founder Wayne built a new system from scratch. What a guy! It’s also something we can build on for future use, and we’ll have the flexibility to change what we need. So, win-win.
Have a look, and if you have any feedback, please let us know:
This month's featured member is actually a team! Pascal and Preet from Tamajii
joined us recently, and have been making some really great iPad apps for the creative class.
What is your company name and brief description?
Tamajii means 'good spirit' in Japanese. We make creative apps for the iPad and one day other mobile devices as well.
How does being an entrepreneur/freelancer fit into your live/work balance?
Being an entrepreneur has increased our stress levels, but otherwise, I love the freedom of getting to decide what comes next.
What is the best part about working from Camaraderie?
It has helped to separate our home and work lives. Our homes are back to being a place to relax and we don't live at the office anymore.
In Case You Missed It...
Here are some of the most interesting things we've shared, tweeted, or learned over the last month that we wanted to share again, in case you didn't catch it the first time around:
