News, news, news!
There's LOTS going on here at Camaraderie, so here's a summery summary (sorry):

1. We're growing! We're excited to announce that come August 1st, we'll be expanding up onto the 3rd floor of our building.  This means more startup rooms, a new board room, a lounge, and a second bathroom/kitchen.  Want to see? Come by and visit and we'll give you a tour!

2. Yes, more startup rooms means that we're looking for more startups that need space. Act quickly if you know anyone, though: we have 4 in total, but only one left! Here's a link to view & share: Click here

3. Summer promotion is ON. As of July 1, all new PT Memberships are $100 for the first three months.  More details on the blog

 1)  So.....what do you do?

    I'm CTO at The Long Reach Corp, makers of info@hand (http://www.infoathand.com). Because we operate in a distributed manner with developers and customers around the world, I can work on one side of the country while our headquarters is on the other. Our software is a web-based application which builds on a CRM base to add everything needed for managing a small business. It allows various departments to share information, to coordinate sales operations and internal development, and to make relevant information available to the customer. In my spare time I also practice iOS development and web design.

    2)  How does being an entrepreneur fit into your live/work balance?

    My flexible schedule is incredibly helpful when it comes to organizing activities or helping out friends and family members. When I have a doctor's appointment, the car needs repairs, or my niece needs watching for a couple hours, it's generally easy to rearrange blocks of work around that. Not having to worry in those cases relieves a lot of potential stress.

    3) Why did you choose to start coworking, and why at Camaraderie?

    While my home office is fairly conducive to getting work done, I find it beneficial to leave the house now and then and break up the routine. Getting out to see new and familiar faces helps to improve my focus and productivity, and there's always the chance of making new business and social connections. It also helps me to allocate specific hours for work (at my discretion), so that at the end of the day I can put work away and move on to other pursuits. Camaraderie has been good for all of these things, with the central location, ability to drop in on a whim, and friendly co-workers.
