We'll try to keep the comments about the weather to a minimum, but... what the heck?! It really seems like winter and spring are in an epic battle royal for supremacy. I've got my money on spring though!
super special announcement coming soon
If you've been following us closely on Twitter, you may have noticed us teasing a forthcoming announcement. Well, we're still not ready to let you know ALL the details, but we DO have a date booked to celebrate. After all, the party is almost more fun than the announcement itself (almost).
So, save the date of April 28th to join us for some appetizers on us, some drinks, and a celebration. Stay tuned for an email coming later this week with all of the exciting details.
Before we say too much, we're going to move on. But the suspense is killing us.
This month's featured member is Joost Reimer. Joost has been with us for some time now. He has recently launched a really exciting product called Hom3decorator, an online app that turns a picture of your living room into an interactive 3D version, so you can design your own room online! Here's a bit more from Joost himself:
What is your company name and brief description?
Joost splits his time between Toronto and The Netherlands, so be sure to say hi next time you see him!
Hom3decorator is an application which allows users to decorate their house in 3D using only a simple photo. The user uploads a photo of his/her room, and can then start decorating with 3D furniture which actually can be bought.
Hom3decorator is available at www.hom3decorator.com, on facebook at apps.facebook.com/hom3decorator and on several real estate portals (so you can redecorate your new house!), as well as decorating portals and websites of furniture shops.
Does being an entrepreneur fit into your live/work balance?
Absolutely! Its fun to do and gives me a lot of energy and flexibility.
What is the top thing you get out of working from Camaraderie?
Its beautifully located at the St. James Park, has a nice working space with good facilities, and it has a good working atmosphere.
What is one thing you would like to see happen/change/start at Camaraderie that would benefit you the most?
It could be nice to organize a meeting with the participants and let people tell what they are working on. And their (business) concerns are. Maybe someone can help with advice or contacts.
And as for meeting with other members, well, you'll notice that we've got just such an event happening on April 28th. Stay tuned for details,
