Stone Lab Open House Canceled
 
The health and safety of our community and staff is our first priority. In accordance with state of Ohio guidelines and The Ohio State University protocols, the 2020 Stone Lab Open House has been canceled. We'll miss being able to connect with everyone in person, but keep an eye on social media for some fun Stone Lab content on September 12.

The Friends of Stone Lab Annual Meeting will be held online on September 26, 2020.

Stone Lab's Backyard Neighbor
 
Hands-on experiences at Stone Lab shaped the life of Put-in-Bay student Sophia Schroeder. Now a biochemistry major at The Ohio State University, Sophia has a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) under her belt and is starting to look at positions with natural resource agencies.

Ohio Sea Grant Announces 2021 Knauss Fellowship Finalists
 
Ohio Sea Grant is proud to announce that five Ohio finalists have been selected as part of the prestigious Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship, a year-long program that places highly qualified graduate students in legislative and executive branches of the U.S. government.

The Friends of Stone Lab (FOSL) awarded 15 Stone Lab scholarships to exceptional high school students at the 2020 virtual State Science Day, held May 26-June 2, 2020. Each student receives free room and board for a one-week course.
