Dear Valued Donor,
Last winter, your donations helped to keep 14,748 people safe in war-torn Syria. With your support, we were able to provide vulnerable families with essentials like warm clothes and bedding to help them survive the harsh winter months.
To keep out the cold weather, we provided families in need with:
- 1,700 mattresses
- 1,700 blankets
- 1,700 plastic sheets
- 5,100 winter clothing packs
- 3,500 fuel vouchers
Our amazing Syria projects
At the Al Iman Specialist Hospital for Women and Children, we provided medical care for more than 5,972 women and 7,736 children in 2017. Over 500 babies were successfully delivered and 6,168 children under the age of 5 were screened for malnutrition.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to feed 7,830 hungry people as part of our Ramadan campaign in 2017. We distributed food parcels and cooked meals to desperate Syrian families living in displacement camps and the shells of shattered buildings, allowing them to break their fasts with nutritious food.
Syrian families need your help again this winter
This year, 13.5 million people in Syria are in desperate need of humanitarian aid. 8 million of them are small children. Winter can be a killer, and as the cold weather draws in, we must act to save innocent lives.
Just £65 will provide a winter food pack to keep a family of four fed for a whole month. £165 will buy a Winter Survival Kit, containing nutritious food and other essentials. £250 will buy plastic sheets to protect a family from the rain and snow.
Together, we can stop winter killing today.
