Dear Valued Donor,
In Yemen, 130 innocent children are dying every single day. Streets have been reduced to rubble by endless airstrikes and the spectre of cholera hangs over a devastated landscape. There are currently over 900,000 suspected cholera cases and over 2,000 people have died from the cholera outbreak since April.
Time is running out for the people of Yemen
7 million people in Yemen are facing starvation. 70% of the population are completely reliant on food aid, and without it, they will waste away. This is a man-made humanitarian catastrophe, and every day that passes sees more suffering, more heartbreak and more death.
Life is a waking nightmare for civilians living in the makeshift desert settlements, struggling to survive without food, clean water or basic medical care. Small children lie limply in their mothers’ arms, their bellies swollen with malnutrition, too weak with hunger even to cry out.
You can save an innocent life today
This deadly conflict will leave psychological scars on Yemen’s children for many years to come. They need our protection more than ever.
Just £65 will provide a starving family with enough food to last them a whole month. £250 will buy protective plastic sheets for a family living in a makeshift shelter and shield them from the elements. Together, we can answer the prayers of Yemen’s most vulnerable people.
