Wine 101 Educational Series Starts Oct. 23rd from 1-2:30 pm
I'm very excited to introduce you to Kevin Stump who prior to starting his own wine education and consulting business, worked as a wine specialist in some of Seattle’s most popular restaurants such as the Wild Ginger, Palisade and Palomino. After a successful career in wine sales, Kevin developed a unique and enthusiastic method of bringing wine knowledge that both inspires and educates. Kevin recently completed a 13 state Restaurant wine education tour this summer, is Seattle based, and you can experience his brand of wine education in local seminars held at wineries, restaurants or through his partnership with the Washington State Liquor Control Board where he teaches Mandatory Alcohol Server Training classes.
In this first installment we will be discussing wines of the Old World and how they differ in style and substance from Washington State wine. Read more about it and buy tickets online here: http://kevandbart.eventbrite.com/ If you sign up ahead of time tickets are only $25 per person. Otherwise, $30 at the door. Space is limited so please reserve your seat early. If you don't want to buy online please RSVP to this email and we will take care of this the OLD WORLD way!

Harvest 2010 Update!
By the time you receive this email, the 2010 Tempranillo will already be in barrel. However, the rest of this years vintage is not ready to be picked until later this month. While the ripening process is slower this year, the overall vintage should be our best to date.
Being Social
I truly love to engage in conversation with wine and food lovers all over the world. Make sure you friend me on Facebook and/or follow me on Twitter (see buttons in right hand column). Ask me about harvest, post pictures, talk about your favorite wine, tell me what you think about my wine. I personally answer all posts and respond to all requests. There is not a better way to know what's happening from day to day at the winery. Go now, and comment. Thanks for your participation.
