So you think you have a great website.

Are you sure?

Is your navigation crystal-clear? Are your calls-to-action written in plain English? Have you created smooth conversion paths?

Your analytics package (perhaps you use Google AnalyticsWoopra or one of the many other options) probably gives you a bunch of great data points: time on site, bounce rates, top visited pages... that sort of thing. But how does your site really resonate with a real, live person?

That's where you need to do some usability testing.

Go Straight to the Source

This used to be a time consuming and expensive process. You had to find a lab, set up a focus group, corral participants and then record and review their reactions to your site. changes all that.

For $39 you get a video of an anonymous user describing their experience using your site. You also get a written report that clearly articulates problems they encountered while they were there.

Additional users can be added to a group for $29 a pop.

These are real people, so you get real experiences with your site. You can request certain key demographics for your sample - gender, age, income, country, and web expertise - but the goal is to get as fresh a perspective as possible.

Your user testing can even be cross-border, as panels are also available in Canada and the United Kingdom.

See How You Stack Up

User testing can be used to test your whole site, or for a single landing page. Best of all, if you want to see how you measure up against others in your market, you can request a test between your site and your competitor's.

Imagine that. Real actionable feedback from a living and breathing soul, not a spider or robot.

We all want a great website. Now you can get some feedback on how to get there.
