The new listing presentation
It’s time to kick PowerPoint to the curb. Toss out Keynote too while you’re at it.

The listing presentation is important, and it’s time to do it better.

Haiku Deck is a new app for iPad that makes that possible - or at least suggests a new direction. It promises simple and stunning presentations, and largely delivers.

You won’t need any software, plug-ins, or even technical acumen. All you’ll need is the app, your iPad, any custom images you want to use and a creative itch.

You’ll probably find that ditching all the stress and drama that often comes with opening PowerPoint or other presentation software enables you to focus more on creativity. The story.

Do it all with simple text and photographs. Maybe even a JPEG showing current market conditions. The point is Haiku Deck makes it impossible to screw up your presentation with too many ideas or words per slide, cheesy clip art or charts that make your eyes cross.

The app is seriously easy. After downloading it, dive right in and pick a theme for your slides. The app includes a dozen or so that are free and more for purchase at $2 each.

You can also choose from a large library of Creative Commons-licensed photos, or upload your own.

Reorder slides, edit text or change layouts using clicks and swipes to navigate. When finished, you can email, tweet or add your presentation to Facebook.

Simple. Sweet. Effective.
