Make Sure to Turn on Pictures Hello everybody,

Last year we introduced the Snowflakes '12 design for the winter holidays. It was an amazing success, but people wanted more. More designs and more sizes. Here is the answer: Snowflakes '13.

The new snowflakes are slightly larger and, of course, different from Snowflakes '12. Both designs make great ornaments to hang on your holiday tree or in windows, but they also make perfect "little gifts" for neighbors and office friends. The castings are so delicate, that many people mistake them for torch work.

Making the Snowflakes '12 and Snowflakes '13 is as easy as pumpkin pie. Spray the mold with MR-97, fill with fine frit (and some CBS Dichroic Flakes if you are looking for extra sparkle), and fire to either an icy or snowy finish. Complete instructions can be found in our updated project sheet. The snowflakes come out of the kiln ready to hang.

Happy holidays,
Larry Jacobsen

PS If you are looking to make a special gift, step-by-step instructions in the updated project sheet tell how to make amazing snowflake holiday platters.
