Are We From England?
If you can't wait for the reunion to discover where the Redds come from, follow updates on Facebook and in forthcoming newsletters. Analysis continues as Rudds add an interesting possibility in finding our origin. If we do connect to John Rudd and Avis Whitaker our ancestors may well have come to America as indentured servants from England.

If you are interested in helping explore this possibility contact or join us at the Roots Tech Conference in Salt Lake next month.

Plans for the great Redd Reunion of 2015 are rolling forward and it's going to be a can't-miss event filled with chances to celebrate our heritage and strengthen our family ties. Now that 2015 is here, it's even more important that we get the word out to all the far-flung members of our family so no one misses out on this great event. Also, organizers need to begin developing a count of how many people to expect. So, this is a direct appeal to all of those already "enlisted" to help us find those who are still out of the loop. It's a good time to remember one of President Spencer W. Kimball's most effective encouragements: "Do it" -- and its even more effective corollary, "Do it now!"
Like the hymn "We Are All Enlisted" reminds us:
It's time to get enlisted e'er the party is o'er.
Don't be absurd; please pass the word.
Don't miss the Redd reunion and regret evermore
Get your clan signed up and join the fun.
Hasten to Facebook! Join the Redd group!
Learn all the details! Get the straight poop!
Sign up your cousins, uncles and aunts.
Folks you've invited will do the Happy Dance!
It's time to get enlisted e'er the party is o'er.
Earn many thanks, for swelling the ranks.
Those who share the word will have a Redd crown in store.
YOU could win and wear it by and by.
