Today is Election Day!
Vote APPROVE on I-1000 / R-88

With ballots due before 8:00 p.m. TONIGHT at your local ballot drop box, we're urging you to fill out, sign, and return your ballot with an APPROVE vote on I-1000 / Referendum 88.

Initiative 1000 would allow affirmative action in education, employment and contracting decisions by public agencies across the state. State and local jurisdictions could foster brighter futures for kids through measures designed to create equal opportunity, weighing factors such as age, race/ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation when considering a person for employment or other opportunities. I-1000 bans quotas and preferential treatment, so that none of these factors will solely determine such opportunities.

You can still register to vote in person before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day at your local elections office and/or voting centers. Enter your information at the Washington Secretary of State's MyVote page using the button below to find the nearest location.

Have you had trouble finding dental care?

Have you or members of your family had trouble finding a dentist? We want to hear about it. In many communities across Washington, dental care is out of reach. Without it, you can lose your teeth, your health—and even your life. Children’s Alliance and the Washington Dental Access Campaign are working to authorize dental therapists to address Washington’s dental access shortage. Speak up about your efforts to find timely, affordable dental care.
