Voices for Children brings us together as a community that cares about kids to honor and support advocacy that builds opportunity for Washington's kids. We want you there to celebrate with us! Register today

Glenn Harris, President of the new Race Forward and Publisher of Colorlines, will deliver the keynote address. Glenn has more than 25 years of experience working on issues of race and social justice with community groups, foundations, and government agencies dedicated to building a more just and democratic society. 

He is former Manager of the City of Seattle Race and Social Justice Initiative, whose mission is to end institutionalized racism in City government and promote multiculturalism and full participation by all residents. Glenn has supported the start of similar initiatives in jurisdictions across the country, and helped found the Government Alliance on Race and Equity

Glenn brings a unique and powerful combination of bold vision and real world experience to the complex challenge of rebuilding child-serving systems and structures on a foundation of equity.

Keynote Address: Glenn Harris

Glenn Harris, President of the new Race Forward, Publisher of Colorlines, and former Manager of the City of Seattle Race and Social Justice Initiative, will deliver the keynote address at the Voices for Children luncheon on Thursday, June 6. 
Join us at the Voices for Children luncheon on Thursday, June 6 and lend your voice to a vibrant, inspirational program that highlights the power of advocacy for building opportunity for kids and creating a better future for all Washingtonians! 

Tickets to the luncheon are $70. We also invite you or your organization to host a table (full table seats 10; half table seats 5) and introduce others to our work! Guests will be encouraged to invest in smart, tenacious, equity-focused, public policy advocacy that protects kids and builds opportunity ($150 suggested donation).
