Kids' health is not a bargaining chip.

Dear Friend,

This week in Learn, Love, Lead!, a problem that has to be fixed. The Republican leadership in Congress has allowed the Children's Health Insurance Program to expire! Tell your members of Congress to renew CHIP now.

Washington State could run out of CHIP funds as early as November. If Congress doesn't act, kids' health benefits may be scaled back, families could pay more, and some families may lose coverage. We can't let that happen.

We asked you in September to urge Congress to renew the Children's Health Insurance Program the September 30th deadline. Thank you to everyone who spoke up. Now kids need your action again. Send your message.

Action:

CHIP is a critically important program that has long had strong bi-partisan support. It's outrageous that some in Congress have delayed this critical funding that helps take care of our children. Even if you already sent a message to your members of Congress, please do it again today.

Urge Congress to renew the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and protect Washington's kids.
Take Action!
When we act together, we are powerful. Invite your friends and family to take this action with you.

Thank you for all you do for kids.

Sincerely,

Paola and the Children’s Alliance Team
