Too many Washington kids and families can’t get the dental care they need to stay healthy. Dental therapists can help! House Bill 1317 will authorize dental therapists and expand access to dental care where it is most out of reach. The bill has already made its way out of committee, now legislators just need to pass it in the House and send it to the Senate! Can you urge your legislators to vote YES and help the bill successfully clear this final hurdle?
Tell Your Legislators to Vote YES!
Representative Tana Senn and Bellingham parent Mark Geri spoke to KOMO News on Tuesday in support of the “Fair Start for Kids Act” (HB 2661), a bill which will make child care more affordable and accessible for families, and dedicate funds to support Washington's early childhood educators.

"A lot of times, parents can’t find spots for their children to be in a high-quality learning program,” said Geri. “So, paying teachers properly so they want to stay in those programs, providing enough incentives for programs to happen to serve enough children in our community is critical for the development of Washington state families and children.”

Make your voice heard and tell your legislators to vote YES on HB 2661 and support our kids, families, and educators!
