Newsletter - January 2017
Last Day of 2016
Happy New Year!  

I hope you've all had a great Christmas & New Year break and are ready to hit the road running in 2017!

As you would know by now, work/life balance is high on our priority.  We know how important this balance is for EVERYONE, and what a struggle it is to implement at times.  We definitely practice what we preach - the photo above is how we spent the last day of 2016!

So for now, sit back, relax and hear about everything Time Made. 
Time Flies
We all know that time flies.  Diaries and calendars fill up and before we know it someone will be saying "Merry Christmas" again.  (Side note - I did speak to an accountant yesterday who told me there were only 50 more Mondays until Christmas.  Seriously funny man!!).  However, let's talk time management for a second.  Here are a couple of my tried & tested tips that will help.  You don't have to do them all, but implementing even a couple will help.
  • Shortcuts are everywhere so make it your mission to find and use them. These range from computer shortcuts to the driving route you take on the way home.
  • Decide what's really important & act on it. Did you know that in 5 years, 80% of what you do today will not turn into anything. It's just busywork, with no useful outcome. Harsh, but true.
  • Get everything out of your head, even if you're a genius. Write it down in a notebook, put it in your to-do-list app, on your phone, talk to Siri.  Take the pressure off your memory.
  • Don't read your email first thing in the day, don't read it in the evening (it ruined many evenings for me), and try to do it only 3 times a day at scheduled times.  This way you're not reacting to someone else's priority.
As usual, the lead up to Christmas and over the holiday period is always really busy for us. Some of the services we provided included:
  • Working with our clients & their hoarding issues;
  • Decluttering and organising.  This continues now with families getting organised for return to school & work;
  • Drop in house sitting services;
  • Providing relocation assistance services;
  • Increasing our small business executive administration support services ;
  • Providing strategic and ongoing management of business social media accounts;
  • Writing newsletters;
  • & much more!
We have developed a new Specialised Unpacking Service as well as an Employee Benefits Support package for implementation in 2017.  Watch this space for more information.  I always say if you can dream it, we can do it, or arrange it.  As long as it's legal and ethical we'll get things done for you.
Preparing these two for imminent jet-setter status! They leave the country next week - I wonder if they need a chaperone?
