HIP 2.0: Implementation & Impact Recap!

Thanks to those members and guests who joined us at Ivy Tech’s Culinary Penthouse for HIP 2.0: Implementation and Impact which took place on June 19th.  Brian Tabor from Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) and Katherine Wentworth, JD from MDwise shared an update on the Healthy Indiana Plan 2.0 revisions.

Brian and Katherine explained the key elements of the HIP 2.0 program including the anticipated impact on participants and practical considerations and concerns of which providers should be aware.

Brian Tabor was also just quoted in the IBJ as saying  he was surprised by last week’s Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act. He described the decision as a "relief" and says it is beneficial to hospitals and patients. During an interview on Inside INdiana Business Television, Tabor talked about what the ruling means for Indiana and business. Brian was instrumental in the development and adoption of Indiana’s HIP 2.0.  We look forward to hearing further developments in the news in the coming months.
