Engineering Change in Health Industry Management
Sometimes it just takes a different perspective to reinvent an industry. That’s what ORS, Inc. experienced when mother-son duo Debbe Winkle and Steve Parker teamed up to streamline the revenue cycle process.
Winkle, who has experience on nearly every rung of the health industry management ladder started ORS, Inc. just a little more than 20 years ago with the sole purpose of taking the burden of accounts receivable (A/R) management off medical professionals.
Fast-forward to today, Winkle and her son, a computer engineer and business savvy entrepreneur, to find ways to automate the process, making medical billing easier and more efficient for the entire health care industry.
As anyone who has experience in the industry knows, health care represents an intricate and complicated industry marked by constant change and regulation. But with the industry knowledge and IT development background of the ORS, Inc. team, the company has quickly set out on an unprecedented path for reinventing the medical billing process through the lens of today’s most innovative engineers.
Read what Winkle has to say about the industry-past and present and her and her son’s aggressive path for the future. Read more here.
