About Casa Caponetti
Beginning as the Caponetti family retreat and inn, Casa Caponetti has
evolved into a fully organic farm, B&B, and historical reserve, with
educational programs in sustainability, archaeology, and gastronomy.
Combining warmth and hospitality with sustainable innovation and
creativity makes Casa Caponetti a full service agriturismo that showcases
the beauty of Central Italy.
Lorenzo Caponetti
Lorenzo has worked on the farm since his family purchased the land in
1994, when he took over the cultivation process that brings Casa Caponetti
Olive Oil to tables around the world. He has also designed and built
many of the structures on the grounds including the renovation of the
B&B, along with developing a crop rotation system used to maintain a
sustainable organic growing system in the vegetable gardens. He lectures
on sustainable farming, olive oil production, archaeological conservation
and water management. He continues to develop these topics in his work
on and off the farm.
