What’s next?

Working forestry in Washington state – managed responsibly and sustainably, using practices guided by science – is in an exciting phase of its long history here.

Earlier this week, Washington’s newly elected commissioner of public lands Hilary Franz was sworn in to begin her four-year term in office. Every transition gives us opportunities to build on policies that have been successful and to address areas where we can do better.
