LTR Volunteer Opportunities

The 2017 Learn to Row season starts March 14th and we need as many volunteers as possible to help out with all of the Learn to Row classes. We need volunteers for our Learn to Row 1, Learn to Row Next Strokes, and Learn to Row Sweep classes all starting in March. It’s a great way to pass on your knowledge of rowing to the next potential group of members while also fulfilling the 10 volunteer hours required of all members.

If you can only fill in a few days here and there, that’s okay. All of our Learn to Row coaches would greatly appreciate a helping hand to help guide the participants whether that’s rowing in a 1x alongside them or driving a launch. LWRC Annual Meeting

Thank you to all who came to our Annual Meeting! It is always great to see everyone in non-rowing attire. We covered some official business at the meeting, but we also announced our 2016 Volunteers of the Year and added to our Board of Directors Award. Along with awards, new members of the Board of Directors were elected into open positons.
