CityNet-Microsoft survey findings on Cloud System released
The City Cloud survey jointly conducted by CityNet and Microsoft shows only 22.2% of Asian cities have adopted cloud computing to a moderate or extensive degree. However, this figure is expected to grow rapidly over the next three years, jumping more than two times to 46.9%.

2015 National Chapter Call for Proposals
The 2015 National Chapter Call for Proposals has been disseminated to all National Chapter focal points. The Secretariat is anticipating a wide range of dynamic proposals this year. Flood management training in Banda Aceh
CityNet and CDIA are adapting the flood management training for Indonesian cities from March 23rd-25th, with Banda Aceh as the host. Following last year’s Training of Trainers in Singapore, the lead trainers from Banda Aceh and Jakarta developed a localized version of the training tailored for the Indonesian cities’ needs. Affordable Housing at ICLEI Congress
CityNet will host a side event on Affordable Housing in the Asia Pacific region on April 8th at the ICLEI World Congress in Seoul. CityNet's long-time supporter, Kirtee Shah, will lead the session with dynamic speakers covering topics like slum upgrading, property rights, land use and housing data. CityNet Secretariat welcomes interns from Vietnam
Representatives from Hue and Hanoi, Mr Hong Giang Nguyen and Ms Thu Huong Nguyen, had a chance to work with CityNet Secretariat as interns from mid-January to the beginning of February. This is part of the Master of Urban Administration and Planning program sponsored by Seoul Metropolitan Government. They shared fascinating information about their respective city’s urban development.

CBARAD concludes with Achievements for All
As CBARAD project comes to an end in March this year, the preliminary final survey results indicate impressive outcomes - 91.3% of respondents now understand the high risk areas in their barangays and over 97% have the knowledge of evacuation protocols specific to their barangays.
