RECAP... Lift the Lid

Hi everyone,

Last Tuesday we were lucky to have Professor Susan Davis join us.  Professor Davis is on the committee of Australian Rotary Health and also specialises in Mental Health. Susan presented the important facts and experiences in regards to Mental Health which has been a taboo in our society. As part of her role in Australian Rotary Health she also spoke about their "Lift the Lid on Mental Health" campaign in the lead up to World Mental Health Day on October 12th. If any one is interested in learning about how you learn and contribute to Australian Rotary Health, please visit their website.

On Monday 18th September, the Swinburne students will be running a 30-60min workshop on the BeCollective platform, which our club will be piloting as part of the Skills bank project.  This will be Swinburne Hawthorn campus from 7:30pm. There will also be another session on Friday 22 September at 3pm.  If you have completed the survey, you should have received an email from Rachael.  If you would like to attend please let Aron or President Jacinta know.

On Tuesday 19 September 2017, we have a massive meeting where our 9800 District Governor Peter Frueh and his lovely wife Anne, will be presenting his plans for his year and also will talk about his passion for Rotary. I encourage you all to come along an learn more about Rotary!!! Please RSVP through Meetup.
