Montgomery County Revises Capacity Limits for Businesses Amid Rising COVID-19 Cases
Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, after consultation with County Health Officer Travis Gayles and based on data, has issued Executive Order 122-20 that will reduce capacity limits for businesses, including Olney Winery.
Among the changes in the order is limiting businesses to 25 % capacity.
NEW PROCEDURES AT THE WINERY
Our Olney Winery Tasting Room remains open for business seven days a week so we can continue to serve our loyal customers during the pandemic. We are, however, limited to 25% capacity (14 guests) both indoors and outdoors (now featuring new tented outdoor space) as per current county & state regulations.
Outdoor tented space
So that we can properly serve everyone safely, we have adopted the following guidelines:
1) Masks are required for entry until you are seated
Please put your mask back on when standing up.
2) Social distancing in effect
Please maintain yourself at least 6 feet apart from other guests.
3) 14 guests at any given time
Our temporary seating capacity is 25% both indoors and outdoors.
4) Reservations are highly encouraged
Give us a call (301) 570-1907 to make a reservation. Walk-ins are certainly welcome, space permitting.
5) Patron tracking form
All employees and guests are required to complete Patron Tracking, both tastings inside and out.
6) No alcohol can be served or consumed after 10:00 pm
Last call on Friday and Saturday will be at 9:30 pm. No wine can be on the tables after 10:00 pm. We will happily assist you corking your wine bottle.
7) One hour time limit
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are our busiest times. The time limit is now one hour during these busy times.
