Introducing our recent makeover and new website, promoting screen industries in the UK regions and some recent work
Its been a busy Summer at Creative Nation HQ, so much so that we are only now taking this opportunity to introduce you to our brand refresh, new website and offering.

Born out of consultation with both our talent, partners and clients, Jon Daniel, Independent Creative Director and custodian and designer of our brand and new website describes the rationale behind our new look and our re-positioning thus;

“The Creative Nation Brand refresh aims to sharpen its image and key premise as a one stop creative management and production hub. Using the visual and literary vernacular of an airline / flight finder service, it brings to life some of the key benefits and attributes of the Creative Nation service such as their virtual agency status; ability to be nimble and move quickly whatever the demands of the project; and network of highly skilled talent that span all disciplines and creative territories thus enabling them to assemble a bespoke crew to deliver any project, anywhere. The very model of a truly 21st century business platform.”

Crucially, our new website seeks to explain the process behind working with a remote agency with a new FAQs section, a refreshed Guide to Creative Nation and a speedy brief drop.

We would really appreciate it if you were to take a look and share it with at least one colleague, friend or client who you think would benefit from our approach.
Huge thanks to Jon and to
Mark Mapstone for the build.

'We appreciated the professionalism of Creative Nation's approach; the ease of contact, guidance you provided us through the process and the way you interpreted quite a difficult brief. The end result has great timing, structure and impact on everyone who has seen it.
Colleagues have even told me they felt emotional watching it!'
Francesco Corsi, Marketing & Communications Director, Amec Foster Wheeler.

Promoting the Screen Industries in the regions- shout out for facilities and crew located in the East of England!
Creative Nation has always championed UK wide talent- its in our very DNA as a remote agency who seek to work with the best talent, irrespective of geography. We have recently opened a Suffolk office, and have volunteered our time to help steer a local government initiative and commitment to promoting the screen industries in Suffolk. Whilst the industries have historically been focused within London and the M25, as London facilities and crew reach capacity, we think its the perfect time for talent in the regions to lay out their stall!

Suffolk County Council are delighted to have appointed Film Fixer to manage the new Screen Suffolk office. Film Fixer are very keen to hear from local crew and facilities who would like to get on board, and we strongly urge you to do so now! More information on their plans and contact details can be found here.
Partnerships- working with Culture Works East to develop the next generation of creative talent
We are super excited to have been asked to work alongside Culture Works at this year's Latitude festival. Culture Works is an award winning youth arts company who produce industry savvy creative, media and cultural workshops, projects and events for 8 to 25 year olds.

We provided event management support to the teams in both the Enchanted Garden and the Inbetweeners areas. Activities included music, media and fashion workshops alongside hang out areas designed to provide young people with a space of their own. Young people who are working on their Arts Award were also able to take part in activities towards their qualification. We even had our own stage curated by Access to Music in Norwich and we were blown away by the quality and professionalism of the young musicians and bands who kept us entertained all weekend.
