Symptoms of Inner Peace

Peace

- A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.

- An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.

- A loss of interest in judging other people.

- A loss of interest in judging self.

- A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.

- A loss of interest in conflict.

- A loss of ability to worry (this is a very serious symptom).

- Frequent overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

- Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.

- Frequent attacks of smiling.

- An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.

- An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

Warning! Inner Peace can be contagious!!!

Raw Food Breakfast
A healthy start = a healthy, harmonious day.
 
Raw Food BreakfastHere's a yummy raw food breakfast I made recently while traveling:

1 chopped apple
1 chopped pear
1/4 cup fresh chopped pineapple
1 orange peeled and chopped

Put all fruit in a bowl.  
Sprinkle ground flax seed and ground hemp powder on top. Squeeze fresh lemon or lime juice.  Add soaked goji berries (can soak overnight or for 1 hour minimum).  Drizzle the goji berry water onto the mixture as well.  Top with 1 chopped strawberry.  Give love and gratitude to your food during preparation.  Sit and eat consciously.  

Watch and experience as a beautiful, energized day unfolds!

Be creative with your breakfast and get out of the Western ideas of what breakfast foods are and aren't.  Un-teach your body away from the unhealthy, poorly food-combined standards of fried eggs, toast and bacon and learn a new way with a new high vibration of raw foods for your body's inner harmony and joy.

Chopping your fruit and eating it with a spoon makes it feel like a meal and can be much more enjoyable than eating fruits from hand-to-mouth.  Take the time to chop into small pieces so that it is easy to eat.  Try different combinations and use different superfoods to bring variety into your diet.

Have several ideas for breakfast so you don't get bored.  Try a fruit salad, green smoothie, fruit smoothie or even a raw vegetable salad.  Why not?  

Variety in your diet will exercise your colon.  Having different color vibrations in your food balances out the chakra energies inside.  Many reasons not to have cooked, de-vitalized, low vibration white toast.  What can your body do with that besides go back to sleep!

Affirmation for the Month Ahead: 'I am putting effort and love into my breakfast giving my body the best possible start to every day.'

What do you mean by 'inner noise'?   

Calm HarmonyThe sign that a human being is really evolved, is that he is aware of belonging to a whole which is far greater than his own person, and that he takes care not to disturb the harmony of the whole by his own activity, thoughts, feelings and inner noise.  Perhaps you will say, “What do you mean by inner noise?” All noise is a result of discord, and the noise within us, which is the result of our inner torments and revolt, disturbs the psychic atmosphere.  He who makes a lot of inner noise does not realize that it is very harmful even for himself, and that sooner or later it will manifest in his organism in the form of a physical or psychic illness.

Love Your Food
When you are eating, remember to love your food: only then will it open up and give you all its treasures.  You must have noticed how flowers react to the sun: when the sun is there to warm them they open their petals and when it disappears they close up again.  And food reacts in the same way.  If you don’t love it, it will give you practically nothing: it will lock up its treasures.   But if you love it, if you eat with love, then it will open, pour forth its perfumes and give you all its etheric particles.  You are used to eating mechanically, without love, simply in order to fill yourselves.  But try to eat with love and you’ll see what a wonderful state of mind it produces in you.
 
Gratitude
BalanceEven if you are completely snowed under with work, you must never allow it to be a pretext for failing to develop your spiritual life.  Every day, three times a day, at least, you have a golden opportunity to tune into your Divine Source, for every day, three times a day, you have to eat.  Everyone has to eat.  Nobody has time to pray, read or meditate, all right.  But you have to take a few minutes every day for your meals.  Then why not make the most of those few minutes and use them to work on your own perfection, to tune into the divine energies of gratitude and love?
 
Calm
When your nerves are on edge, let your meals be an occasion for learning to calm yourself: chew your food slowly, pay careful attention to your gestures, and you will find that after only a few minutes you will feel quite calm again.  If you start the day in a state of agitation and begin working or talking without doing anything about it, the whole day will be restless and agitated and your energy will all evaporate.  Instead, pause for a moment in what you’re doing, don’t say anything, don’t move, and then, start all over again in a different rhythm and with a different orientation.
 
It’s that easy!

Raw Sesame Seed & Dill Dressing
Raw herbsFresh, Fast, Easy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup raw sesame seeds
  • 1 Cup fresh dill
  • 1 Teaspoon sea salt
  • 1-2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive olive

Instructions

  1. Grind sesame seeds in a mini food processor.
  2. Add fresh dill and sea salt and grind again.
  3. Stir in olive oil.

Notes: Especially recommend over freshly cut tomatoes or in a freshly grated carrot salad.  Yum!!
