You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I’m telling you why
Evan Sayet is Coming to Town!
Nationally known comedian and conservative commentator Evan Sayet is headlining our first-ever Tea Party Christmas party at Mill Creek on Dec. 11. He is also the author of The Kindergarden of Eden: How the Modern Liberal Thinks. You may have laughed along with him at the Unite IE Conservative Conference in Riverside earlier this year.
Here is a clip of his Riverside appearance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T3dHkEKE-k For more info on Evan please click http://evansayet.com/
The price is $20, which includes lots of appetizers and two drinks.
This is a combined Christmas party between the Redlands Tea Party Patriots and Unite IE, a coalition of conservative groups in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
We will also have a silent auction to support our military families through the Fisher House Foundation. https://www.fisherhouse.org/
We're departing from our normal monthly meeting on the first Thursday in December so we can properly celebrate Christmas, the hard work of our patriot activists and volunteers, and the 2014 election returns. Again, no meeting on Dec 4.
Back to work saving America in 2015
As Andrew Breitbart said, “we are in a long war for the soul of America.” The liberals are not giving up and neither can we.
Since we don't want to stop watching football -- much less hold a meeting -- on New Year's Day, our January meeting will take place on the following Thursday, Jan. 8.
And what a meeting Jan. 8 will be! Our speaker is Avi Davis, a senior fellow at the American Freedom Alliance, a Los Angeles-based organization formed to identify threats to Western civilization and uphold Western values and ideals. http://www.americanfreedomalliance.org/
More about the November election. Patriots! Some of the numbers from the November election have been certified by the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters.
Bummer that Nancy Pelosi clone Pete Aguilar won, but at least not in Redlands! Pete lost his hometown, where the people know him best, by 1,400 votes! In fact, the Redlands turnout in Congressional District 31 was 46 percent, by far the highest turnout in the Inland Empire. This is a direct reflection of our campaign efforts.
Overall, the Redlands Tea Party Patriots visited 8,200 homes in Redlands in 2014 -- and most of those were after the June primary. That figure doesn't include market night booths, distributing yard signs, etc. It's fair to say if all the conservatives in the Inland Empire worked as hard as the Redlands Tea Party Patriots, Paul Chabot would be heading to Congress next month instead of Aguilar -- a supposed rational adult who actually thinks the military should be used to fight global warming (we're not making that up; Aguilar actually said that at the October debate at the University of Redlands).
Pete won by only 2,300 votes despite having a 4-1 cash and a 6 percent Democrat voter advantage. Liberals were sweating bullets on Election Day when their candidate had to be pushed, hauled and hoisted over the finish line in a district he should have won without a sweat. Aguilar won by playing race and fear cards via mailers and television commercials into Democrat areas in Fontana, Colton, and San Bernardino.
We and other IE conservatives will be watching Aguilar carefully. He would be well advised to worry more about representing his district than obeying and pleasing Pelosi and Obama.
Want to help keep a close eye on Aguilar and Obama? Then become a "sentinel" for Heritage Action!
Heritage Action is specifically designed to track all federally elected representatives of both parties and how they adhere to conservative principles. (This is especially important now that a local leftist is representing Redlands and the Inland Empire in Congress.) As a "sentinel," you would follow Aguilar -- or anyone in the US House or Senate -- and become an expert on his voting patterns. You could attend a weekly and national webinar discussing Congress each Monday. You could also network with fellow sentinels nationwide.
For more information: www.heritageaction.com/Sentinel. You can also talk with Redlands Tea Party cabinet member John Berry for more information at the Dec. 11 Christmas party. Stay tuned.
Speaking of staying tuned, many people in Redlands are determined to fight the $250 million boondoggle train to Redlands from San Bernardino, also known as “the Redlands Crazy Train.” Plans are forming.
Patriots! We have been presented with the opportunity to go on the offense in 2016. In California, 5 percent of number of people who voted for governor are needed to qualify a measure for the ballot. After the 2012 election, that figure was 505,000 valid signatures. Because of the low turnout in November, the magic number of signatures to qualify a measure for the ballot is 269,000! Normally, qualifying ballot measures is a difficult objective to attain. But this lower threshold means our chances of qualifying conservative and popular measures has increased significantly.
For us, that lower threshold means we are going to help collect signatures for conservative groups wanting voter ID, school vouchers, gas tax repeal, carbon tax repeal, pension reform, etc.
For liberals, this means they will be trying to qualify measures attacking Prop 13, raising taxes, and legalizing marijuana (even if that means poisoning our children). This means we have to be vigilant about not signing petitions that could harm our state and families.
The Redlands Tea Party Patriots will be working extra hard though 2015 and 2016 to stay on top of what is going to become a flurry of confusing and often contradictory signature gathering efforts. Again, stay tuned.
Merry Christmas patriots! We so hope to see you at our Dec. 11 Christmas party with Evan Sayet! Thank you for everything you do in service of the cause to save and restore America.
