Tea Party Principles:
--Personal freedom with constitutionally limited government.
--Economic freedom with opportunity for all and favoritism for none.
--A debt free future through fiscal responsibility today.

Robert Spencer was fantastic at our August 4 meeting
If you missed it, or want to see it again, or want to share Robert Spencer's great presentation at our August 4 meeting, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fga0WBN_WWY

And here is Robert Spencer and his colleague in pro freedom anti Jihad thought crime, Pamela Geller, on August 21 at the American Freedom Alliance conference entitled "#Islam and Western Civilization: Can They Coexist?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7R8BdrLg60 They were the two best of many great speakers.
Please share these videos to alert Americans to the Jihad, violent and civilizational.

Phyllis Schlafly, RIP
Phyllis Schlafly, Christian, mother, wife, American, patriot, activist, citizen of a Constitutional Republic.  She was a role model for every Patriot, activist and citizen, RIP
Ann Coulter writes in her tribute column:
--"Upon Ronald Reagan’s election in 1980, Senator Jesse Helms said, 'God has given America one more chance.' With Schlafly and her long career, God gave America dozens of chances."
Here is Phyllis Schlafly's final column "Trump in Mexico recalls Reagan in Geneva"

RTPP Voter Guide
[Candidates and Propositions]

With the Tea Party principles in mind, the Redland Tea Party Patriots Cabinet presents our Voter Guide [on our website] and our Voter Guide [on Facebook] that includes our recommendations re: candidates and propositions.  Please download and/or share online.  Sharing the voter guide is our online canvassing program.  Our recommendations include:

Donald Trump:  Unabashed American Patriot, will put America and Americans First, will secure the border and enforce America's immigration laws, strengthen our badly depleted, downsized and demoralized military, appoint conservative judges like Antonin Scalia, provide proper care for Veterans, renegotiate trade deals to benefit American workers, repeal and replace Obamacare, end Common Core, cut tax rates, oppose the Global Warming hoax, reign in excessive regulations.

If Hillary Clinton is elected, Paul Ryan and the EstReps will probably help her pass Amnesty. This election could well be our last chance to elect a president who will enforce America's immigration laws and prevent all of America from becoming like California politically, a one party state controlled by far left Dems.

Paul Chabot [CD31]: Paul nearly won in 2014 despite being out spent by more than 5 to 1 and probably because of Dem vote fraud.  Paul is a dedicated Patriot, a veteran and man of integrity.  Paul Chabot has the, or one of the, best chances in America to defeat a Dem incumbent.
http://www.paulchabot.com/

Mike Morrell [State Sen. Dist. 23].  Mike has a 100% rating from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.  Mike is a dedicated Christian, Patriot and conservative.  Mike received ~54% of the vote in June.  Good but we can never be complacent.  http://votemikemorrell.com/

Jay Obernolte [Assembly Dist 33]:  100% rating from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.  Jay received ~60% of the vote in June. http://electjay.com/  Again, we can never be complacent.

Marc Steinorth [Assembly Dist 40]: Marc has a 97% rating from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.  That is good enough to overcome our disappointments with Marc including supporting toll lanes on the 10 and 15 freeways.  Marc is in a marginal district and came in second in June with 48.5%, and the alternative is much worse on every issue.  We need to help Marc win in November. http://www.marcsteinorth.com/

It is very important to vote for all Rep legislative candidates, even if they are imperfect, because the Dems have a good chance of getting the 2/3+ majority back so they can pass tax increases without a vote of the people.  The Reps have held the line on tax increases the last legislative session.

Even if Donald Trump is not competitive in California, and even though there is no US Senate candidate worth voting for, it is still vital to vote because of the down ballot races and the propositions.

No vote for US Senate.  Two far left Dems [is there any other kind?] are running.  Reps and conservatives should not vote for the slightly less lefter Dem.  The Rep 40% in California can be decisive and wield great influence, but we have to play "hard to get."  A Dem who wants our votes has to make it worth our while.

Dennis Prager: "Trump, Republicans and the 'Principles' Question"
If you have any remaining doubt about supporting Donald Trump, please read Prager's article linked above.  If you know any #NeverTrump holdouts, please share the article. Prager concludes:
--"Therefore, with another four years of Democrat-left rule, meaning a nearly permanent left-wing Supreme Court and left-wing-controlled lower courts; the further erosion of federalism; an exponential growth in the power of the federal government; further leftist control of education; and the de-Americanization of America in part by effectively eliminating its borders, in part by substituting multiculturalism for American identity and in part by giving millions of illegal immigrants citizenship -- America will not be America.
--" We conservatives who will vote for Trump understand that he is the only vehicle we have to prevent this. We recognize that though there are some fine individuals who hold left-wing views, leftism is a terminal cancer in the American bloodstream and soul. So our first and greatest principle is to destroy this cancer before it destroys us. We therefore see voting for Donald Trump as political chemotherapy needed to prevent our demise. And at this time that is, by far, the greatest principle."

Stop Obama From Surrendering American Control of the Internet, Preserve Internet Freedom, [and help elect Donald Trump and other Reps]
--“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.” Benjamin Franklin

On October 1, 2016, the Obama administration plans to surrender control of the Internet to an international consortium of #globalist "stakeholders" including Russia, China, Iran, and the 57 states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation [OIC].  [The OIC pushed thru UN resolution 1618 to criminalize any criticism of Islam with Hillary Clinton's support.]
Read more about it and what we can do to stop Obama.

All Patriots must also be Activists
--"This is an election about saving the concept of America, an existential election like no other has ever been."  Ann Coulter
--"If ever the Time should come, when vain & aspiring Men [or women] shall possess the highest Seats in Government, our Country will stand in Need of its experienced Patriots to prevent its Ruin."  Samuel Adams
--"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." Ronald Reagan
--"If not us, who? And if not now, when?"  Ronald Reagan
--"Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives." John Adams

In the present situation, must not all Patriots be Activists?

The following are some of the ways everyone can fulfill their obligations to our country and please remember:
--"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little."  Edmund Burke
--"Everyone can do something."  Tim Donnelly

RTPP Fall Canvassing Program
Notwithstanding the Internet and Facebook, door to door canvassing is still the most important way to get out our voters.

John Berry, the RTPP Canvassing Coordinator, reports that thanks to our Patriot members and supporters, our spring canvassing program exceeded our "stretch" goal of 3000 voter contacts!!!  We had to order more materials.  Our Patriot volunteers made more than 5000 voter contacts.  This fall we have our work cut out for us to help our candidates including Donald Trump, Paul Chabot, Mike Morrell and Marc Steinorth.

Our goal is 10,000 voter contacts in Redlands and Loma Linda.

Beginning Saturday September 10 and continuing every Saturday until the election.  Meet at 10:00, and it will take ~2 hours.  You can also pick up your materials and walk your area when you want.  We will be dropping literature rather than knocking on doors, although you can knock if you wish.  Bring a spouse or friend for company.  Get your exercise and help save America.

Contact John Berry to sign up so he can prepare sufficient canvassing packages.  John@RedlandsTeaParty.net or 909.496.1539.

Because, unfortunately, our Rep candidates are not working together [AS THEY SHOULD BE], the RTPP canvassing programs, door to door and online, are the only way you can support both Donald Trump and our local candidates at the same time.

Other ways to help save America
America's Founders pledged " our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."   What are we willing to do?
**Contribute money.  Most if not all candidates allow us to contribute from their websites, from Donald Trump on down.  Because the Dems represent the Globalist Ruling Class, they usually have a lot more money.  Because we have truth and American principles on our side, our candidates do not need as much money, but they need some.
Give what you can and then give a little more.  Who cannot afford to give $1000 for America between now and the end of October?  $500?  $100?  Even $5 and $10 helps.
**Canvass.  The best way is with RTPP because we cover Donald Trump, Paul Chabot for Congress, state legislative candidates and Redlands city council and school board.  If you are outside our area, the candidates have their own canvassing programs.
**Phone bank.  Calling voters is also important.  The candidates have their own phone banking programs.  For some candidates, we can call from home.

Mike Morrell has a great phone banking program located in Redlands.  Team Morrell HQ, 1901 Orange Tree Lane, Suite 220, Redlands.  This is primarily for Mike Morrell, and they will allow us to also mention Paul Chabot and Marc Steinorth when calling where the districts overlap.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-8:30 [tacos included]
Saturday 9:30-12:30 [doughnuts and pizza included]
RSVP so they have enough food.  909.747.9223
If you can't call for 3 hours, do what you can.

**Talk to friends, family, coworkers and neighbors.  Some of our master political gabbers will show us how they break the ice and successfully discuss politics and the election with people who do not already agree with them.  This includes hold out #NeverTrumpers who are aiding and abetting Hillary Clinton.
**Use email and social media.  There is lots of good and useful content on the RTPP website, Informed American News website, our FB discussion page, our FB organization page, our Twitter account, and many other places.  Add your personal note to the posts and emails you send and share.
Please also share at every opportunity "Clinton Cash" documenting massive Clinton Corruption. It is available for free on Breitbart.com and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=td2pyyCau30
**Letters to the editor, comment on online articles.  We can submit letters to the editor of LA News Group papers including the Redlands Daily Facts, SB Sun and Inland Daily Bulletin. Limit submissions to 150 words and send via email (without attachments) toeditor@inlandnewspapers.com  Include your full name, city and daytime phone number.  Please also post your letter on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/RedlandsTeaPartyPatriots/ and let us know if you're published.
**Focus where can make a difference.  For example, Paul Chabot has a close race that can be won.  Other races, there is no reasonable chance of winning.  [We are not going to list those.]  We should evaluate where we can best spend our limited time and money, and maybe that is not on the Rep running our district, but rather in another district.
**Show confidence.  The MSMs will try to demoralize us.  Instead show confidence.  “Confidence is contagious and so is lack of confidence.” Vince Lombardi

To volunteer for Donald Trump.  In or near Redlands, John Berry is Redlands coordinator for Donald Trump.  John@RedlandsTeaParty.net

CSG Training returns
The Center for Self Governance's mission is to teach individuals to "Keep the Republic" by rediscovering and effectively exercising their civic authority.
CSG level 1 training is a paradigm shifting experience.  We highly recommend it for all Patriots.
CSG will offer levels 1, 2 and 4 in Riverside at Ben Clymer's The Body Shop, 12295 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, Sept. 15-18.  Check out the classes and register here.  Download the flyer here.  Check out this one minute video, The Sacred Fire of Liberty.

Good News for the Cause of America, Liberty and Self Government
**Donald Trump is gaining and leading in some polls. Ex/CNN went from -8% to +2%.  LA Times =3%.
**The Dems have the poster child for lying, corrupt and incompetent Washington politicians, Hillary Clinton, the #UndocumentedFelon.
**Germany's AfD party beat Angela Merkel's party in Merkel's home state because of her mass Muslim immigration policy.
**Around the world people are starting to rise up and push back against the globalists who want to erase our countries.
**The University of Chicago rejects "safe spaces."
**A new social media network is coming on line, GAB, https://gab.ai/home dedicated to free speech.  They are adding users as they add capacity.  Check it out.

It is as important to share the good news as the bad news.

Winning the "Culture War"
Where we spend our money is our "second vote."

As Andrew Breitbart observed: "Culture is upstream of politics."  Through their control of our cultural and educational institutions, liberals have been winning the culture war.  To preserve the culture and moral principles that support our freedom, republic and prosperity through the free enterprise system, it is vitally important that conservatives and Christians put their wallets, purses and remote controls in service of the cause.  A great place for information is www.2ndVote.com  2nd Vote rates companies from 1 (most liberal) to 3 (neutral) to 5 (most conservative) 2nd Vote has apps for smart phones.

In addition to boycotting Target for its nutty and immoral policy of allowing men and boys to use women's and girls' restrooms and changing rooms, Wal-Mart supports Obama's agenda including #Obamacare and the #GlobalWarming hoax.  Wal-Mart's 2nd Vote score of 1.3 [1 is most liberal] is worse the Target's 1.4.  https://www.2ndvote.com/company-scores/  Costco is an almost neutral 2.8.

Instead hypocritically liberal Google, try https://duckduckgo.com/ as a search engine.  It works well, and they do not track you and sell the info to advertisers as Google does.  Use Google as a backup if you cannot find what you want on duckduckgo.com.

Don't read, watch or listen to MSM unless it's linked on Drudge or Breitbart.  It's mostly propaganda and disinformation, and doing so supports Dem propagandists.

To save America, the Constitution and our republic from their enemies, foreign and domestic, Patriots need to use every resource at our disposal including our wallets, purses and remote controls.
