Thank you everyone who came out and volunteered today, we really appreciate all your hard work! 

We know that we have a long road ahead of us and are having another volunteer day tomorrow (11/4) beginning at 9am, feel free to come anytime through the early afternoon.

Volunteer Information

Meet on the Boardwalk at Stillwell Avenue (outside of Tom's Restaurant) at 9am, feel free to come anytime through the early afternoon.

Dress warmly, wear sturdy footwear or boots, and bring work gloves.

If you can, bring your own flashlight (with extra batteries), a backpack, a shovel, outdoor broom, contractor bags and snacks/water for yourself for the day.

Donation requests to help with Sunday's distribution to residents:
-- Blankets
-- Gloves, Hats, Socks
-- Infant diapers

Please note that bathroom access on site will be very limited. 

No RSVP required -- Just show up at 9am or anytime throughout the morning and early afternoon on the Boardwalk at Stillwell Avenue.

Public Transportation Updates

MTA buses are once again running. The 4/5 Train is running from Manhattan into Brooklyn. F trains run to Avenue X, D Trains run to Bay Parkway. Please check their website for further updates.  

We strongly suggest carpooling or biking.
