Ladybird (2017) //  Greta Gerwig

Marketing Officer: Kirsty

"I recently re-watched Lady Bird and and had forgotten how much of a joy it is. I'm a huge sucker for a good indie style coming-of-age film so this ticks all the boxes for me. Each character feels relatable in their own way, a testament to the incredible script from Gerwig and the performances from those involved. Like many things, watching it in a post pandemic world hits a bit different. You feel more joy in the little daily nuances and emotions showcased on screen. Lady Bird is packed with brilliantly honest humour from start to finish!"
