India and Sri Lanka Reported Strong Trend of International Visitor Arrivals in 2014


India, largest destination in South Asia in term of arrivals volume, received 7.46 million international visitors in 2014. India continued to see stronger arrivals trends and the destination reported IVAs growth of 7.1% in 2014, trending upward from 5.9% in 2013. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka maintained strong IVAs growth in 2014 but the rate was pacing down to 19.8% from 26.7% in 2013.

October Tourist Arrivals Show Positive Growth


Tourist arrivals to Malaysia from January to October 2014 continued to grow, registering a hike of 9.6%. The country received 22.9 million (22,859,448) tourists compared to 20.9 million (20,863,045) tourists for the same period in 2013. More.
