Arrivals from Korea (ROK) zoom in on Northern Marianas


 
The popularity of the Northern Marianas has been soaring among visitors from Korea (ROK). In the first quarter of 2017, arrivals from that market to the Northern Marianas leapt by 106.5 percent with the destination enjoying an overall increase in international visitor arrivals of 34.4 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Other source markets, including the Philippines (33.8%), the Russian Federation (21.8%) and Guam (16.5%) also generated more visitors to the Northern Marianas in this period but arrivals from Japan decreased by 24.8 percent compared to 1Q2016.
