Hong Kong SAR continued to dominate the percentage of unique visitors to travel websites in July 2018


 
According to comScore’s latest web usage data, Hong Kong SAR listed the highest percentage (53.9%) of unique visitors to travel websites in Northeast Asia in July 2018, up from 53.1 percent in the same month last year. Chinese Taipei was in the second spot with 51.3 percent during the month, up from 50.6 percent, while the percentage from Japan declined slightly from 48.6 percent to 47.5 percent. China, however, lagged behind in the region registering a low of 20.9 percent, down from 32.9 percent in the same month last year.

It includes a number of additional measures of travel activity and profiles including the length of stay, expenditure and other useful metrics.

Early indicators of travel flows for the calendar year 2018 (year-to-date) are also provided as an early warning mechanism for identifying major shifts and movements in key origin and destination markets.
