Solid arrival growths for Japan and Korea (ROK) in 2016

Japan and Korea (ROK) are two nations benefiting from solid arrivals growth trends in 2016. Japan is reporting, for May 2016, visitor arrivals growth of 15.3 percent. Korea (ROK) recorded growth of 14.1 percent. Arrivals from China and Southeast Asia are continuing to drive increased numbers of arrivals to both destinations.

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited led by Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President has singed the United for Wildlife Transport Industry Declaration supported by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) at Dublin, Ireland.

The Declaration aims to raise awareness to stop wildlife trade and educate passengers, stakeholders and employees about the consequences of illegal wildlife trade and how to spot smugglers in the act, focusing on  African elephants, rhinos, big cats and pangolins.
