Strong Growth of Low Cost Carrier Seats (LCC) Capacity from Northeast Asia to Southeast Asia Expected to Continue in 2015


Scheduled LCC seats capacity from Northeast Asia to Southeast Asia is expected to reach 9.65 million in 2015 (a year-on-year 15.6% increase). Japan (+53.1%) is expected to top the growth chart, followed by Korea (ROK) (+25.5%). Meanwhile, LCC seat capacity from China and Hong Kong SAR are expected to see moderate growth of 11.9% and 9.9% respectively.
