PTM 2018: It's a Wrap!

Another PATA Travel Mart done and what a huge success it has been.

We’re still collecting the full stats from last week, but with over 1,400 delegates from 70 destinations worldwide and a multitude of side events on the programme, it has definitely been one of the busier PATA Travel Marts to date.

Here at PATA HQ in Bangkok, we’re busy compiling all the photos before looking forward to the weekend - but before that, we really want to acknowledge some important people and organisations without whom PATA Travel Mart would not be what it is.

First, acknowledgement is due for our gracious hosts: the Government of Malaysia, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia, and the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA).

Secondly, a big Thank You goes to each of partners and sponsors: Air Asia (Official Carrier), Malaysia Airports (Airport Partner), TTG (Official Publication), iFREE Group (Delegate Badge Sponsor), Desaru Coast Malaysia (Delegate Lanyard Sponsor), Attendify (Mobile App Sponsor), Berjaya Resort (Official Caterer), Sarawak Tourism Board (Lunch), LADA & Paradise 101 (Dinner), Macao Government Tourism Office (Gold Awards Lunch), Kraftangan Malaysia (Delegate Bag & Welcome Reception Door), Mastercard (Digital Hub), Nepal Tourism Board (Buyer Lounge), LADA Eco-Tourism (AV Support), SOJERN / uCloudlink / LADA / World Tourism Forum Lucerne (PTM Talks Sponsors), Travel Weekly Group / World Tourism Forum Lucerne (PTM Forum Partners).

And finally, PATA Travel Mart has always represented a massive effort of volunteers getting involved and making an amazing international travel trade show. The event would not be possible without this substantial grassroots dedication. Thank you.

Last but not least - thank you to all the delegates who contributed to making 2018 one of the biggest PATA Travel Mart. We hope to see you next year!

Check out the PTM 2018 album on Facebook and stay tuned for the full photo gallery next week.
