Mixed Direction of Visitor Arrivals from Northeast Asia to Southeast Asia Destinations in 2014


Singapore and Thailand are having a significant decline in visitor arrivals from Northeast Asia in 2014, a drop of 409,700 and 676,400 respectively over 2013. Albeit off much smaller numeric bases, Lao PRD (49.6%) and Myanmar (22.1%) performed best in terms of year-on-year arrivals growth from this source region. Indonesia (11.1%), Cambodia (8.0%) and Vietnam (4.6%) reported a moderate increase during the period.
