Scheduled inbound flights to China likely to hold firm in 2017

Scheduled flight frequencies to China in 2017 will remain at similar levels to last year with just a slight dip of 0.4 percent. Flights to China from Japan and Korea (ROK) will again account for the highest percent (37.3%) although scheduled operations from airports in Korea (ROK) to China are predicted to decline by 3.1 percent compared to 2016. Origins in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia (24.9%), Vietnam (21.1%) and Singapore (12.0%), are expected to contribute a greater number of flights to China in this year.
