Scheduled Europe seat capacity predicted to decline in 2017

A dip of nine percent in total seat capacity on scheduled airline routes to Europe and within Europe is forecast for 2017. Within Europe, seat capacity is likely to decrease by up to 30 percent. However, other source regions are expected to report positive growth in 2017 with, for example, routes from Africa and Asia experiencing increases in scheduled seat capacity of 117 percent and 70 percent respectively.
