Singapore enjoys arrivals boom from mainland China

Arrivals statistics show significant growth in the numbers of tourists from mainland China visiting Singapore over the past two years (22.3% in 2015 and 36% in 2016). However, the numbers of visitors from Indonesia to Singapore varied in these two years with a drop of 9.6 percent in 2015, followed by an increase of 5.9 percent last year. In 1Q2017 Chinese arrivals to Singapore showed a double digit growth of 13.7 percent compared to 1Q2016. Indonesia was traditionally at the top of Singapore’s source markets group but China has now grabbed the number one position with these impressive increases in visitor arrivals.

We want to give a sense of hope to those who are still affected by conflict and show them the path to a better future. We can learn from our past and improve our future.
