Africa and Asia dominating the inbound growth chart for New Zealand during 1Q2018

In 1Q2018, New Zealand enjoyed strong collective growth rate of 8.1 percent in international visitor arrivals from across all regions, led by Africa (+14.4%) and Asia (+13.3%). The double-digit growth rate from the Americas (+11.1%) also contributed to New Zealand’s positive performance. In terms of market share, the Pacific and Europe still remained among New Zealand’s top leading source regions, albeit with slow growth arrivals in the first quarter of this year.
