Technical Tour and Tourism Marketing Treasure Hunt

For the first time at a PATA event we are incorporating a treasure hunt! Learn about the people of Bicol by savouring their history and culture, tasting their food, admiring the nature that surrounds them and taking part in the treasure hunt that will be used as a tool to engage with a key conference session on ‘Interactive Marketing - a Treasure Hunt'.

Million Dollar Digital Marketing Challenge

Emerging tourism destinations have an unprecedented opportunity to boost their digital marketing campaigns, thanks to our collaborative venture with TripAdvisor.

The PATA CEO Challenge offers two prizes, each valued at US$500,000, for regional tourism organisations, secondary and tertiary cities that are able to demonstrate how they showcase effectively their heritage, customs, culture and natural beauty to local and international stakeholders. They must also present evidence about how their tourism activities provide real economic empowerment to local communities.

Awards valued at US$500,000 will be presented to the winners of each category: States, regions and provinces; and second-tier/third-tier cities. The winning organisations will work with TripAdvisor teams to create memorable digital marketing campaigns.

Deadline for submissions is October 1, 2015. Download the
brochure or view the video here and share with your colleagues. For more information on the entry fee, categories, terms & conditions and how to submit an entry, please visit PATA.org or email: PATACEOChallenge@PATA.org.
